Almost two years ago, we immersed ourselves in the topic of fish oil and omega-3 fatty acids. The trigger was a gift within the family: a fish oil that tasted great but, upon closer inspection, did not meet our expectations regarding quality. At least we had tried a fish oil at all, as we had not trusted any product until then.

Up to that point, we had already spent many years researching vitamins and minerals. The essential omega-3 fatty acids now became the focus of our interest as another important building block of a balanced diet.

As part of our research, we visited specialist conferences in Frankfurt, Warsaw, and Munich and held numerous discussions with manufacturers, experts, and market participants. During this process, we gained the impression that many products served the market, but none fully met our expectations regarding purity, quality, sustainability, and composition.

Therefore, we decided to take action ourselves. Our journey led us to Norway – a country with a long tradition in producing high-quality marine oils. In Oslo, we met a producer who has specialized in fish oil for more than 30 years. This encounter led to a cooperative partnership.

In joint workshops, we gradually developed a formula that, in our opinion, combines the strengths of various marine raw materials. The goal was to combine the valuable omega-3 fatty acids from wild salmon and krill with high-quality coconut oil and to create a product with high quality and pleasant application.

The result is Northern Omega – a product that, in our view, combines purity, sustainability, and carefully selected ingredients. Omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA, are important components of a balanced diet. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function, while EPA and DHA together contribute to normal heart function, provided they are consumed in sufficient quantities.

With Northern Omega, we aim to offer people a high-quality source of essential omega-3 fatty acids – developed based on many years of experience, careful research, and the conviction that quality makes all the difference.
